Liz Meyer Beautiful weather has followed us across the country, and yesterday's travel from Carnine Ranch to Custer State Park was no exception. As we travelled, we made up a song about our trip, which family members will get to hear when we get to the Island....whether you want to or not 😏.
The drive was beautiful, rising out of the Sandhills of Nebraska up to the mountains and meadows with buffalo and antelope. We are in a beautiful campground next to a lake. After making camp we all piled into Jeff's truck to take the scenic windy road up to see Mount Rushmore, then enjoyed a nice dinner at the lodge on the lake. Uncle Jeff keeps us all laughing and engaged in great conversations!
